Bio
Kevin Raye Remmert February 21, 1965 – June 22, 2018 Born in Taylor, Texas. He began working with the City of Austin Electric Department 6 months before graduating from LBJ High School in 1983. Once he graduated he worked full time and retired from Austin Energy with 31 years of service as a lineman. Kevin loved life and lived it to the fullest always going forward, never straight. He was a loving Father, Popo, son, and partner. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, boater, golfer, camper, and anything that involved the outdoors. He is survived by daughter Holly Zoerner, son in law Beau Zoerner, grandsons Kacen Zoerner and Zane Zoerner, loving and devoted partner Lannie Briscoe, parents Melvin and Loretta Remmert, sister Karen Cathey, Niece Stefani Mendoza, great nephew Isaiah Mendoza and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and life long friends. He is preceeded in death by Felix and Marcella Dykowski; Arnold and Ida Remmert. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 6:00-7:00 PM with Rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of Christian mass will be held on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 10:00 AM at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Granger. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Granger. Rock on!
