THE HOUSTON POST, WEDNESDAY AUGUST 20, 1924: Miss Bettie Jo Svadlenak, 20, died here Monday morning after an illness of only a few hours. Besides her mother. Mrs. Johannah Svadlenak. she is survived by five brothers and four sisters, Joe, John, Rudolph, Charlie and Frank, Mrs. F. S. Leshiksr, Mrs. Hugo Sesfek. Mrs. Ed Holly and Miss Anna Svadlenak. Miss Bettie Jo graduated from the Taylor public schools and had attended the State university(y for two sessions. She had a large circle of friends all over this section of the State. Hr. C. I. Sharpe of the Spiritualist church at Fort Worth, will conduct the funeral services, the time for which is uncertain, pending word from Miss Anna Svadlenak, who is visiting in Los Angeles, Cal.
