Suggested edit: Mrs. Slaughter, 65, Pine Bluff Native Mrs. Alice Bluerock Slaughter, 65, of 1307 East Second, wife of Charles L. Slaughter, died Monday night at 10:30 at Jefferson Hospital. Mrs. Slaughter had been ill for 18 months and had been at the hospital two weeks. She was a native of Pine Bluff, daughter of the late Louis and Katherine Hagar Bluerock. She attended schools here and was married here April 6, 1920. Mrs. Slaughter was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church and was a charter member of Pines Chapter No. 40, Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors in addition to her husband include one son, Charles L. Slaughter, Jr., of North Little Rock; one brother, Paul Bluerock of Pine Bluff; one sister, Mrs. J. D. McDaniel of Pine Bluff; and two grandchildren, Mary Alice and Lu Anne Slaughter of North Little Rock. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ralph Robinson and Son Mortuary by Rev.
