Married Walter Wozny on February 5, 1902 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Krakow, rural Nance County, Nebraska. According to her burial card she died August 19, 1938, age 53 years, following a kidney operation, and was buried August 22. ________ Evening World-Herald (Omaha, Nebr.), August 20, 1938, p. 14, col. 5 Deaths Mrs. Katherine Wozny, 54, of 3914 Y street, died in a hospital Friday evening after a long illness. Survivors: Husband, Walter; brothers, Joseph Shepoka, Omaha; Charles Shepoka, Fullerton, Neb., and John Koziol, Greeley, Neb.; sisters, Mrs. Charles Augustine, Primrose, Neb., and Mrs. Frank Zuroski, Greeley. The body will be taken to the Joseph Shepoka residence, 5704 South Thirty-second street, Sunday morning. Funeral will be Monday at 8:30 a.m. at the residence, 9 o'clock at Sts. Peter and Paul church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
