S.J. was Stonewall Jackson Sargent. He was born Nov 29, 1862 in VA and died April 24, 1924 in Denton, TX. He married Arrie Dunn in VA on Oct 13, 1898. He was the son of Isiah Sargent & Barbara Ellen Shockey Sargent and the grandson of John & Margaret Sargent. He had the following siblings: Jacob, Amba, Emily, Nancy Ann, Rachel, Vestine, Abraham, Florence & Gemima (or Jemima). I'm related thru his uncle, Jacob Sargent (who married Letha Elizabeth Simon).
