Max Christian Roeske passed away due to natural causes in Live Oak County at the Troell Farm northeast of George West, Texas. The certificate of death includes his father's name as Fritz Roeske with Germany as his place of birth. Max Christian was born in Taylor, Texas according to the death certificate, and notes the body was "removed" from Live Oak County to Taylor. There are several members of his family buried in the Three Rivers Cemetery in Live Oak County. It includes his brother, Herman Fritz Roeske. While death certificate gives mother's name as "Unknown" his brother's death certificate lists her name as Lina Krugel giving "German" as her place of birth.
