Bio
J. W. Thomas died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Cissel of Muldraugh, July 20, 1924 after a long illness. He was 74 years old and is survived by ten children; Mrs. Bob Cissel, Mrs. James Collins, Mrs. Dan Shacklette, Mrs. John Aebersold, Mrs. Cris Aebersold, Pusey, Joe, Elisha, Reuben, of this place and Mrs. Leonard Beard of Oklahoma and thirty-one grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and one sister in Texas. Funeral services were held at Cedar Grove conducted by Rev. Poe. Interment in the church cemetery. My great grandfather. Meade County Messenger, Rock Haven News, July 30, 1924 page 5
