Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church in Burwell. The Rev. Joel Rathbun will officiate. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery in Burwell. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell. Mrs. Fortune was born March 5, 1944, in Burwell to Dale and Minnie (Freeman) Lindsey. Survivors of the immediate family include four children and spouses, Tam Sterling and husband Darin Steinhaus of Evansville, Wyo., Brian and wife Kendra Ballagh and Dustin Daniels, all of Burwell and Dana and husband Greg Caulfield of Lusk, Wyo.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Randy and Linda Blake of Howell, N.J., and Ryan and Shelley Lindsey of Brainard, Minn.; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Leola and John Ward of Kearney, and Myra Lindsey of Burwell.
