Bio
On Friday, May 18, 2018, Eugene W. H. Heise passed away at the age of 80 years. Eugene enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, as well as gardening, and he was an avid hunter. He also spent many years working with children at Boysville as the farm director. ttc He was preceded in death by his son, Grant Eugene Heise; his parents Adolph and Elizabeth Heise; his sister Gladys Haverland; and his nephew Michael Haverland. He will be forever remembered by his wife of 45 years, Lillian Duncan Heise; daughter Genea Lynn Heise; and granddaughter Bryn Noelle Heise. Eugene will also be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. A Viewing will be held from 4:00-8:00PM on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 FM 3009, Schertz, TX. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, also at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at 1:00PM on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Fairmount Cemetery, 1120 W. Ave. N., San Angelo, TX. Memorial Donations in memory of Eugene may be made to VITAS Inpatient Hospice Unit at Methodist Healthcare, 8109 Fredericksburg Rd., San Antonio, TX 78229.
