Bio

Sam P. Roberson, 81, of Haworth, died Friday night at McCurtain Memorial Hospital. Born Nov. 12, 1898 at Clarksville, Tex., he had lived at Haworth since 1918. m. Elza 1-18-1919 Roberson was a retired grocery-man, a Mason and a member of the Haworth Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services are set for 10 am Monday at the Haworth Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Woods officiating, assisted by Ernest Lambert. Burial will follow in the Bokhoma Cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of Coffey-Ruiz Funeral Home.
