Celebration of Life service for Mary Joan Butler 72, are set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Drewery officiating. Burial will be in the Overton Hill Cemetery. Joan died May 12, 2018 at MS Care Center. She was born October 13, 1945 in Alcorn Co. MS. to the late David and Frances Hudson. She was a member of Overton Hill Church, she was a dog breeder for many years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, was an Elvis fan and spending time with family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Butler who died July 27, 2017; her parents; grandson, Greg Derryberry; brothers, Gene Hudson, R. G. Hudson, Clinton Hudson, Marlon Jones. She is survived by her son, Charles (Patsy) Butler; daughters, Tina (Royce) Sharp, Becky (Craig) Obed, Tammy Snow, Dawn (Ron) Nash; brother L.D. (Linda) Hudson; sisters Jane (Jerry) Keel, Cynthia Hudson; grandchildren Mary Ann Carper, Jonathan Derryberry, Allison Sharp, Adam Ellsworth, Jeffrey (Jess) Ellsworth, Danny Moore, Rachel Moore, Hannah Butler, Trey Butler, Bobby Thompson, Nick Thompson; 16 great grandchildren and a host of ther family and friends.
