Ronald R. Zywiec, 65, of Silver Creek died Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Bryan LGH West in Lincoln. A funeral service is being held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 10, at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Visitation is being held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, and continues from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial is being held at St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Ronald Raymond Zywiec was born Nov. 28, 1952, in Omaha to Louis B. Zywiec and Anna M. (Krance) Zywiec. He was employed at Behlen Manufacturing for 21 years as a Machinist. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing, taxidermy and carpentry. He is survived by his son, Theodore Raymond Zywiec of Gordon, son Matthew Zywiec of Columbus, daughter Brandy Zywiec Kunkel of Monroe, sisters Patty Landkamer, Sharon Balhorn, Alice Nagorski, Rosemary Staniec, Pauline Staniec, Danine Tworek and brother John Zywiec. He is preceded in death by his father, Louis Benjamin Zywiec and mother Anna Marie (Krance) Zywiec.
