ORD — Adeline M. Urbanski, 93, of Ord passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the Valley View Senior Village in Ord. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ord. The Rev. John Kakkuzhiyil will officiate. Burial will be in the Ord Catholic Cemetery. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Adeline Marie was born on May 17, 1924, at Loup City to Hugh and Helen (Stanczyk) McCarville. She was raised in Loup City, where she received her education and graduated from high school. On April 30, 1946, Adeline was united in marriage to Martin Urbanski at Loup City. The couple first lived on a farm near Elyria and then farmed northeast of Ord. Mr. Urbanski passed away in 1954. In 1955 Adeline moved into Ord with their three children. Adeline worked at various jobs in Ord before working in the clerk’s office at the Valley County Courthouse for 26 years. She continued to work into 1980s for Green Thumb. Adeline was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She belonged to the VFW Auxiliary, TOPS, an extension club and a birthday club for over 40 years. She enjoyed crocheting and bingo, and liked the outdoors, yard work and gardening. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Leonard Urbanski of Ord and Tom and Terry Urbanski of Grand Island; a daughter, Marlene Vasicek of Ord; 10 grandchildren, Rhonni Benson, Steve Vasicek, Jennifer Hering, Amanda Skradski, Alison Johnson, Marty and Tommy Urbanski, Rodney Krumn, Ronda Owens and Renae Shipley; 27 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Deloris Shada of Loup City and Kathy Palu of Rockport, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Martin; two sisters, MaryAnn Pruss and Geraldine Hall; and two brothers, Hugh McCarville Jr. and Jerome McCar-
