Elton King Malish passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018 in Round Rock, Texas surrounded by his family. He was born on March 4, 1939 in Taylor, Texas to Gilbert Joe Malish and Ruby Lee Leshikar. He was proceeded in death by his parents; brothers, Edmond and Gilbert Malish; infant son, Elton Kris Malish; and his cousin, Leroy Mehevec. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judy Lange Malish and their six children: Douglas Malish and wife, Sheri; Darrell Malish and wife, Betty; Kerry Malish and wife, Lesley; Cheryl Barron and husband, Jeff; Roxanne Patschke and husband, Darrell; Michelle Olsen and husband, Rick. He is the grandfather of Misty Pavlicek (husband, Shane), Keith Rohlack (wife, Angela), Kristina Malish, Matthew Malish, Danielle Kollman, Kacy Malish, Kourtney Jenke (husband, Shane), Memorie Malish, Maranda Cummings (husband, Jared), Rachael Malish, Kelton Malish, Destinie Malish, Nahum Patschke, Jacob Barron, Rochelle Malish, Faith Patschke, and step-grandchildren: Kassie Bolton (husband, Michael) and Mallory Keeling (husband, Chad). He is great-grandfather of Brodie Connell, Haddie Rohlack, Ryen Malish, Micah Rohlack, Greyson Pavlicek, Selah Rohlack, Katelynn Cummings, and step-great-grandchildren: Caleb and Benjamin Keeling and Hayden Bolton. He is a proud graduate of Thrall High School. After graduating, he began his long career of farming. He has been a crew leader of house framers in the Austin area and a building trades teacher (getting his teacher's certification for building trades thorough Texas A&M University). Before starting his business, K&M Manufacturing (Hay King) in 1980. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Keith Rohlack, Matthew Malish, Kelton Malish, Nahum Patschke, Jacob Barron, Shane Pavlicek, Shane Jenke, Jared Cummings and nephew, Michael Malish. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church in Noack.
