Daniel Albert Cepak, 79, of Waco, passed away Friday morning, April 13, 2007, at his residence. Rosary will be recited 6 p.m. Saturday at Aderhold Funeral Home by Janice Kaluza. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West, with Msgr. Isidore Rozycki officiating. Military Graveside Rites will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, conducted by V.F.W. Post #4819 of West. Daniel was born in Aquilla, Texas, to the late Albert and Agnes (Sulak) Cepak. He attended schools in Aquilla and 4C Business College. He joined the United States Army and Air Force and served time in Japan. On Sept. 23, 1952, he was united in marriage to Helen Hanzlicek in Penelope. He worked for the Cotton Belt Railroad until his retirement in 1990. Daniel loved to play dominoes, watching sports, and spending time with his family. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellmead. Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Helen, of Waco; son, Danny Cepak and wife, Karen, of China Spring; daughter, Linda Halamik and husband, Mark of Elm Mott; brother, Joseph Cepak and wife, JoAnn of Bellmead; sisters, Alice Janecka and husband, Joe of Burleson and Anna Hennig of Bellmead; grandchildren, Mark, Brent, Erik and Jon Halamik, Lindsey, Courtney and Zachary Cepak; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
