Bio

Selma's parents were Lee Estella(Chambless) and Almond Bates Brownson. Selma married William J. Garrett on 17 May 1937 in Harris Co. Texas. They had one son. Selma loved to garden and can the food from the garden, raise flowers,quilting, crocheting, tatting, and sewing clohes. As a young lady from Colorada County,Texas she loved to go to dances. She was known to enjoy talking about her childhood. Her great joy in the later years were her two granddaughters.
