Burial of Cremains
Mr. Bandy was born on November 13, 1924, in Eddy, Texas, to Charles E. and Annie Espie (Butler) Bandy. He graduated from Chilton High School and was a lifetime Falls County resident. Mr. Bandy enlisted in the United States Army on April 14, 1943, serving in the Pacific Ocean area, attained the rank of Sargent, and was discharged in February of 1946. He went to work for the VA Hospital in Marlin in 1950 as a business clerk and retired in 1980. Mr. Bandy was a member of the VFW and the DAV in Marlin and he attended the RLDS Church in Marlin. He loved to read, play dominos, ride his bike and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. Mr. Bandy was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charlie and Hillis and a sister, Annie Lorene on February 18, 2018. Survivors include nieces, nephews and dear friends.
