I can't find my Documentation for this (daughter of Charles Karl Friedrich Bastian) but that is what I have in my database. Mary was one of at least 6 children all born in France. Her mother was Marie Barbe Dolder. Marie married second to Louis Stauffer in 1843 in France. Apparently they Immigrated to the U.S. in 1845 per Mary's 1900 Census sheet which also indicates she was still alive in 1900. When Mary died and where she is buried is unknown. Mary and Daniel Largent had at least 5 children. Mary married second to William H. Miller in 1865 in LaSalle County, Illinois and this union produced one daughter. Mary's third marriage was to Louis Alexandria Near as his second wife in 1888 in Hamilton County, Iowa.
