The Sioux City Journal Sioux City, Iowa Feb 1, 1981 Jack G. Jacobs Jack G. Jacobs, 50, Des Moines, formerly of Sioux City, died of a heart attack Wednesday night at his residence. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Nelson Berger Northside Chapel. The Rev. John Hagberg of Augustana Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Nelson Berger Northside Chapel. Mr. Jacobs was born May 13, 1930, in Sioux City. While in Sioux City he was employed by Collins Mayflower Moving and Storage Co. and was warehouse manager. He moved to Des Moines three years ago. He was warehouse manager for Ace Moving and Storage Co. there. He was married to the former Marlene "Lee" Bukovic. He was a member of Iowa Warehousemand's Assn. Survivors include the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Dave (Becky) Poeckes of Remsen; Mrs. Pam Cook of Clarinda, Iowa, and Miss Jill Jacobs of Des Moines; two sons, Jack Jr. of Clarinda and Greg of Remsen; three step daughters, Jackie Benedict, Ricki Lee Ward and Bonnie Limoges, all of Sioux City and ten grandchildren.
