The Edgar Sun (Edgar, NE) Thu., Jul 22, 1954 - page Dr. Uridil Dies in Hastings-- Many in Clay county (sic) were saddened last week to hear that Dr. J. E. Uridil, Hastings physician and surgeon, had died unexpectedly at his home Friday. Dr. Uridil had treated numerous residents of the county during his thirty years of practice in Hastings. He had won the respect, admiration and love of all who knew him. Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Cecilia's church (sic) with Msgr. Grogan officiating.
