Bio

Minnie Stout McCain passed away on September 6, 1946, ending a three year and ten month stay as a patient in the Terrell State Hospital. She was laid to rest two days later n Hoprewell Cemetery, Paris, Texas, following a service in the Brown-Roden Funeral Home chapel. Minnie, the youngest daughter of Texas pioneer Capt. Henry Stout, was laid to rest near her husband of 24 years, Rufus McCain, who passed away in 1943. Arrangements for the service and interment were made by her daughter, Willie Cooper McCain.
