Jack Lee Boudreau, 84, of Dietrich, Idaho, died Thursday, March 29, 2018 at a Pocatello hospital. Jack was born April 16, 1933 at Ord, Nebraska. At age 6 he moved with his family to Norwalk, California, where he was raised and educated. Following high school, he joined the US Army and served in Germany as a machine gunner. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Norwalk. One day while he was riding horses with another girl, they passed Carol and Betty Jo Vrooman who were riding horses in the opposite direction. Betty Jo commented about how beautiful Jack's horse was and Carol responded "to heck with the horse look at that guy". A week later they finally met and were married 6 months later on November 11, 1960 in Downey, California. They were married for 57 years. Jack had been driving truck when they had an opportunity to move to Idaho where they owned and operated a diary for 7 years. In 1978 they moved to Dietrich where they raised horses and cattle. Jack is survived by his wife, Carol of Dietrich and a son, Ronald Boudreau of Fresno, California. www.demarayfuneralservice.com
