Bio
Frances VanMark, 92, of Longmont, died March 30, 2018 at Peaks Care Center. She was born in Alvord, TX on February 28, 1926, the daughter of William Virgil Forrester and Sara Ellen (Lauderdale) Forrester. She graduated high school in Palestine, TX and married George David VanMark on September 8, 1945 in Orange, TX. Frances was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. She was a computer programmer for Neodata for 30 years, she loved to garden, and was known for her nice vegetable and rose gardens. She will also be remembered as an excellent seamstress. Frances is survived by her daughter Cindy (Michael) of Longmont; her son Ken (Patti Rae), brother Robert of Wichita Falls, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and six siblings. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at Green Mountain Cemetery in Boulder, CO.
