Robert G. Hill Sr., 80, Marshfield, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Marshfield Medical Center. Robert was born on October 6, 1937 in Baraga, Michigan, to Matthew and Lillian Hill and attended Baraga schools. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1960 until his honorable discharge in 1966. Bob married Arlene "Boots" Weinfurter on January 27, 1968. She died on August 21, 1988. Bob retired from Marshfield Door Systems in 2004. He enjoyed going to the casino, hunting, fishing and making memories with his grandchildren, Kylah and Kamren Hill. Bob is survived by his 5 sons, Rich (Lisa) Hohl, Keith (Tina Timm) Hill, Kenneth (Cory Latourell) Hill, Robert Hill Jr., and Travis (Stacey Gabel) Hill. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Karlie, Kacie, Britiny, Brianna, Kory, Makailee, Tressler, Emberly, Kylah and Kamren and 4 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother, Randy (Vicky) Hill of Sidnaw, MI, his mother-in-law, Ethel Weinfurter and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Ralph, Ronald and Roger, his sister, Faye, and his father-in-law, Richard Weinfurter.
