Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with burial in Memoryland Memorial Park. Mrs. Russell was born Aug. 6, 1939, in Decatur to C.O. and Vena Empra Brown Shaw. She married Larry B. Russell on May 28, 1961, in Decatur. Mrs. Russelll was an educational diagnostician for the Greenville Independent School District and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of Greenville; sons Larry M. Russell of Greenville and Layne B. Russell of Plainview; Jack Shaw of Ruidosa, N.M., Curtis Onar Shaw and John R. Shaw of Decator (sic) and James Earl Shaw of Monohans (sic); sisters Dortha Anderson and Lou Collins of Decatur and Frankie Limburg of Waco, and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Marshall Thomas Shaw, Virgil B. Shaw, L.G. Shaw and Kenneth Mathew Shaw. Sumrall Jr. and Rev. Don E. Lane officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park with Billy Sheffield, Bobby Ash, Jim Toles, Ken Hare, Jerl R. Monk, Ross Powell, Cliff Dawson and David Dawson serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Russell died Monday in a Dallas hospital. Peters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
