Formerly of rural Prague and a long time member of St. Cyril and Methodius Parish (Plasi), Jeannette was born to Marion (Zizka) and James J. Voboril. She attended St. John's Catholic School and Prague Public High School. She worked at the Mead Ordinance Plant in the summer of 1945. Jeannette received teacher training at Midland College in Fremont and taught K-8th grade schools in one room school houses for 3 years. Jeannette married Ernest Jambor on December 30-1946. They lived and worked together on a dairy farm near Prague until they retired. She was an organist for 25 years for the Plasi Church In 2003. they moved to Lincoln.
