Bio

Dee Reese Parker Haigood was born in Belton, TX, but grew up in the Corsicana area. She married Bernie W. Parker during WWII, and they adopted a son, Bobby. Both Bernie and Bobby preceded Dee in death. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the American Legion Post No. 440. She served as chairperson for the Waco Baptist Association, and she had over 500 volunteer hours at the Waco VA Hospital. Dee also gave many volunteer hours to the local nursing homes, and lead worship programs for the Salvation Army for eight years. She also helped at the Waco Mission for two and a half years.
