Joseph J. Kaderka, 81, died April 3, 2007, at St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie. He was born in Granger, Texas and lived in Port St. Lucie for 30 years, coming from Newark, N.J. He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was the past commander of DAV Post 113 in Port St. Lucie. He was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie. Survivors include his daughter, Roseann DiGiacomo of Port St. Lucie; son, Joseph Vai of Corvallis, Mont.; sister, Albena Sladacek of Pasadena, Texas; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Kaderka. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. April 9 at Aycock Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie. A service will be at 9 a.m. April 10 at the funeral home, with burial in Rolling Oaks Cemetery, Port St. Lucie. Published in the TC Palm on Apr. 7, 2007
