Bio

Edward Waldo Cook, age 90, of Sedalia, died Saturday, March 10, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Broadway Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife of 72 years, Ruth Anne; three children, Stephen N. Cook, of Sedalia, David A. Cook (Kathy), of Marshall, and William E. “Bill” Cook, of Sedalia; four grandchildren, Jason, Derek, Stephanie and Kara; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Wayne E. Cook, of Kansas City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman W. and Grace M. (Yeager) Cook; and a daughter, Susan Louise Cook Young Neeley.
