Bio

GYSGT USMC LeRoy W. Bowren of San Antonio died Monday, November 28, 2016 at the age of 79. He was born in Charlotte on June 23, 1937 to Worley LeRoy and Essie (Franks) Bowren. LeRoy is survived by his son, John Fulbright of Ogallala, Nebraska; brother, J.R. Krause of Spring and sisters, Gwendolyn Roberts and Connie Rakowitz both of Pleasanton. LeRoy is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Worley and Essie Bowren. Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 W. Oaklawn Road in Pleasanton on Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will also be held at Hurley Funeral Home on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 10:00 am followed by interment at Pleasanton City Cemetery.
