OBITUARY. SETTLES--At the residence of her brother-in-law, Mr. Thomas Belcher, of this city, Ida, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Settles passed quietly away as if going to sleep on Sunday, March 1st 1890. Deceased was 14 years, eight months and three days old. The cause of death was measles. She was known as a good girl, loved by all who knew her, and her bright smiles will be greatly missed at home, among her friends, and in the school-room. We hope that our loss is her gain. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Christian Church, conducted by Rev. W. M. Featherston, after which the remains were interred in Laurel Oak Cemetery. V. C. --The Windsor Review (Windsor, Missouri), 15 Mar 1890, Sat., p. 2
