Murry Rayford Jennings Obituary Published in The Dallas Morning News, July 21, 1999* JENNINGS, MURRY RAYFORD, beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle, departed this life July 18, 1999. Born to Melton and Ida Jennings on December 5, 1934 in Satartia, MS. **[Ray was preceded in death by his half brother, Orie Lee Jennings; father, Melton Jennings; mother, Ida Bryce; brother, Marvin Jennings; and sister, Dorothy Goss.] He is well loved and will be greatly missed by wife Helen; son, Kevin and wife Mae; sister, Bessie and husband Lloyd Marshall; brother, Chuck and wife Pat Jennings; **[half] brother, Cecil Jennings; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation is 9a.m.-9p.m. Tuesday, July 20, 1999 at the funeral home, family will receive friends 7-9p.m. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 1999 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home Chapel. Interment following at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park, Mesquite.*** * - Ray's obituary was originally published in The Dallas Morning News on July 20, 1999, but the funeral service information was mistakenly omitted.
