Bio

Kenneth "Ken" Fuqua was born March 19, 1940 in Shreveport, LA to Lamar and Gladys Holt Fuqua. He went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2018. He is predeceased by son Kyle Fuqua. He is survived by his daughter Kim Marlow, son-in-law Mike Marlow and granddaughters Madison and Camryn Marlow; Brothers Steve and Don Fuqua and Sister Linda Metcalf. Ken graduated from Sam Houston State University. He was an All American Guard at San Angelo College before playing for the Sam Houston football team. He started Ken Fuqua Homes and was president of the GHBA of Houston in 1984 and was GHBA Builder of the Year in 1985. Memorial services will be held at River Point Church, 5000 Ransom Rd., Richmond, TX on Thursday March 8, 2018 at 12:00 Noon. A reception will be held at the church after the service.
