Norma "LaRae" Diamond Hill 1946 - 2018 Early Life: LaRae was born November 21, 1946, in Ogden, Utah, to John Vesper and Flora Lavieve Devey Diamond. LaRae loved growing up in the beautiful Hobble Creek Canyon. Life’s Work | Service | Interests: On August 8, 1964, LaRae married Michael Reed Hill. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Utah LDS Temple. They were blessed with five children: Roni (Chuck) Goodell, Kim Johnson, Heather Anderson, Jackie Hill (deceased) and John Hill. They are the proud grandparents of 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Hobble Creek Canyon in the fall was one of her favorite times of the year. She never missed an opportunity to drive up the canyon and see the beautiful colored leaves. A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, LaRae served in numerous callings, putting forth her best effort in each one. She loved traveling and enjoyed many summer campouts with her family as well as weekend road trips with her husband. She had many talents and hobbies, including: reading, cross stitching, scrapbooking, crocheting and baking. She loved sharing her baked goods with friends and neighbors. Her pies were legendary! LaRae loved music and played it often. She loved songs from the 50s and 60s; she especially loved soundtracks from her favorite movies. She enjoyed many lifelong friendships with her high school friends and cousins. She was an excellent homemaker and seamstress. She was very involved in genealogy, spending many hours at the Family History Center. Norma "LaRae" Diamond Hill passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018. She was 71.
