Billy Ray Upchurch, 92, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away March 1, 2018. He was born February 8, 1926 in Gary, Indiana. He was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, a member of the First United Methodist Church and a United States Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Sue Upchurch of the home, one daughter Terri Nunnelee of Fort Smith, one son Greg Upchurch of Fort Smith, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Graveside Service with Military Honors will be 11:00 am Tuesday at the U.S. National Cemetery 522 So 6th St Fort Smith, Ark.
