Bio

Reva Kaye Jamison Wood exchanged this world for a heavenly one on Saturday, February 24th, 2018. Kaye was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was loved, is missed, and will always be remembered with deep affection in the hearts of those who knew her. Kaye was born on July 14th, 1950. She was the only child of Earl and Blanche (Code) Jamison. The family made their home in Pawhuska, OK where as a child Kaye enjoyed water skiing, camping in the family travel trailer, and getting into mischief with her schoolmates who would become lifelong friends. She married Larry Elliott Lane in October of 1975. They were married for thirteen years, and Kaye became an enthusiastic step mother to Terry. Larry and Kaye had one daughter together, Pamela. She married the love of her life, Bill Wood, on September 7th, 2000. They worked together on different business ventures, shared a love of the gaming industry, and made the best noodles you’d ever taste. Kaye loved sneaking candy to her grandchildren, yellow roses, and surprising people with gifts, but her heart loved Jesus the most. She walked with him her entire life, and was confident of her place in heaven. Her family finds great comfort in knowing as she drew her last breath here, she took her first breath there. Kaye was greeted in heaven by her son, Richard Jamison, and her parents, Earl and Blanche Jamison. She is survived by her husband, Bill Wood, daughter, Pamela (Jeff) Bruce, step son, Terry (Lori) Lane, step daughter, Rayanna (Ryan) Campbell, and step son, Ryan Wood. Kaye took great pride in being “Granny K,” to her grandchildren. She dearly loved Jasmine, Sophie, and Hannah Bruce, Todd, Tanner, and Katie Lane, Brennan Wood, and her great granddaughter, Hadley Ann Lane. The family asks that you spend time with your loved ones, take a walk outside to marvel at God’s creation, and share a piece of something sweet with the people you love. Kaye would have wanted that for her family and friends. Kaye’s funeral service will be Friday, March 2nd, at 11:00 at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Chandler, OK.
