Linda Koehler, 68, of Grand Island died Friday, February 16, 2018 in Grand Island. Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mark Oberbeck officiating. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery. Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Ms. Koehler was born on May 9th, 1949 in York, Nebraska to Louie and Madonna (Kudrna) Swartz. She grew up and received her education in Grand Island. While growing up she enjoyed spending time with her brothers, sisters and a very special and close cousin Kenny Schommer. She raised her children in Grand Island as she worked at Park Place Nursing Center for over 20 years. She left her job in 2000 to take care of her parents. Her family and friends will remember Linda as a kind and loving person. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Survivors include one son, Kenneth Koehler of Grand Island; one daughter and her husband, Melissa and Jay Fuller of Azusa, CA; and two grandchildren, Makayla and Shane Dahlke of Azusa, CA; two sisters and their husbands, Suzanne and Harry Lovell of Geneva and Lisa and Eddie Lovell of Hickman; two brothers, Louie and wife Suzie Swartz of Grand Island and Gary Swartz and Trish Kelly of Grand Island. Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
