Parents Albet Jokel and Sylvia Dedek Frances Sylvia Storek Rummel, 88, passed away on Feb 6 2018 in Vernon, TX. Born on Sept 23, 1929. She graduated from Harrold High School. She worked at the Vernon State Hospital and retired in 1990. She attended Calvary Baptist Church until her health declined. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm at the Sullivan Funeral Home and her graveside will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday at the Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Toby Castleberry. Frances loved her family and friends. She was quite the social butterfly. She loved to talk on the phone and to go places. Anyone that got the opportunity to know Frances knew she had a very likable personality and was quite comical at times. She was full of life and she loved to garden as much as her health allowed. She was a very kind and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and she loved all animals. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Sylvia Jokel, and her husbands’ Emil Storek and Hugo Rummel. Frances is survived by her sister Josephine Jokel, her daughter Lillian Myers, her son Allen Storek and wife Sharon Storek. Grandchildren include her granddaughter Krystal Swiatek and husband Ryan and grandson Kevin Myers and wife Corrina and granddaughter Summer Wolsch along with 7 great grandchildren.
