Bio

Ann was born to Naaman G. Nicholas Norton and Lorana (Laura) Arnold in Coffee Co TN and named Angelina. She first married James M Gibson (Coffee County marriage record for Angeline Norton) and had five children, with ages all during the Civil War but the last in 1865. She was widowed by 1870, evidently a Civil War casualty. Beech Grove TN had one of the deadliest battles called Hoover's Gap. The new Spencer repeating rifles were used by the Union for the first time. She then married Thomas C Wiser and they came to Kaufman Co TX. Thomas Edgar Wiser was their only child, it seems.
