Bio
Lessie Williamson of Crandall passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the age of 98 in Kaufman, TX. She was born on October 12, 1911 in Rand, TX to the late Thomas Jefferson and Mary Jane (Tarpley) Seargeant. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, quilting, and cooking, but most of all she loved being with Christian friends at Central Baptist Church in Crandall, Texas. She was ‘one of a kind’ and though she was ‘mature’, she was young in spirit. We will miss her, but rejoice because she is even now enjoying that mansion in Glory. Lessie was preceded in death by her husband, Tom C. Williamson, Sr., her father, Thomas Jefferson Seargeant, and her mother Mary Jane Seargeant. She is survived by three sons and their wives, Tom C. (Jr.) and Sue Williamson of Winter Haven, FL, Larry G. and Wanda Williamson of Richardson, TX, and Herman E. and Lucretia Williamson of Grand Prairie, TX. She leaves behind ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grand children. Visitation will be Thursday February 25, 2010 from 6-8 pm at Central Baptist Church in Crandall. Services will be held Friday February 26, 2010 at 10:00 am at Central Baptist Church in Crandall. Interment will follow at Crandall Cemetery.
