Bio

Virginia L. Reznicek, Kimberling City, Missouri, daughter of James and Lillian Reznicek, was born December 27, 1931, in Dodge, Nebraska, and departed this life March 26, 2007, in her home at the age of 75. Virginia had lived in the area the past 14 years coming from Hartsburg, Missouri. Before retiring, she was a speech therapist at Woodhaven School of Learning. Virginia always loved her family of friends at Silver Dollar City. Survivors include two sisters, Margaret Haik and husband, Ron, of Springfield, and Janice Ecklund and husband, Ed, of Ozark and sister-in-law, Clydene Reznicek of Jefferson City. She was "Aunt Ginny" to her beloved clan of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today, March 29, in Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church, Kimberling City, with Father Joseph Liem officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Springfield, under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home South, Kimberling City.
