Anna L. Alston 81 of Paris, Arkansas died Monday, September 28, 2009 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Anna was born March 28, 1928 in Poteau, OK to Ida and P.M. Russell. Anna is preceded in death by her husband Richard Alston and her parents Ida (Gabbard) and P.M. Russell She is survived by two sons; Tony Alston of Richmond, CA., and Thomas Alston of Martinez, CA., two daughters; Laraine Wilson of Dixon, CA., and Jeanie Craft of Grass Valley, CA., three sisters; Doris Hatcher of Paris, AR,. Sally Barber of Booneville, AR., and Rose Smith of Paris, AR., two brothers, Jerry Russell of Charleston, AR. and P.M. (Boots) Russell of Midland, TX., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body was cremated under the direction of Roller Funeral Home-Paris.
