Horn, Harvy March 11, 1982 ….former commissioner MAGNOLIA SPRINGS—Funeral for Harvy Horn, 84, of Magnolia Springs will be at 2 p.m. today at Magnolia Springs Methodist Church with burial in Magnolia Springs Cemetery under the direction of Causey's E. E. Stringer Funeral Home of Kirbyville. He died Wednesday at Jasper Memorial Hospital after an illness. A lifelong resident of Magnolia Springs, he was a sawmill owner and former Jasper County Commissioner. Survivors include one son, Forest R. Horn of Magnolia Springs; two daughters, Nadine Theriot of Magnolia Springs and Fairy McMeans of Brenham; one sister, Laura Bean of Kirbyville; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
