Gunter, Birdie Jones April 5, 1989 Graveside service for Birdie Jones Gunter, 90, of Kirbyville was held April 7 at Magnolia Springs Cemetery under the direction of Pat A. Riley Funeral Home of Nederland. She died April 5 at Golden Triangle Nursing Home in Port Arthur. A native of Magnolia Springs, she lived in the Magnolia Springs-Kirbyville area all of her life. She was a retired cafeteria worker from Kirbyville Elementary School. Survivors include a son, Fred C. Gunter Jr. of Bridge City; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
