Edlina Ann Bartlett was born July 18, 1925 in Fayetteville, Texas and passed away January 12, 2018 in Madisonville, Texas. Her parents were William & Albina (Zapalac) Buzek. She and her husband raised their family in Houston and moved to the Jewett area in 1975. Edlina was a member of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Roman Catholic Church in Buffalo, Texas. Edlina was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, James H. Bartlett; daughter, Carol Ann Martini and son-in-law, Leslie Martini. Surviving family members include daughters, Patricia (Gary) Pettus of Jewett and Cheryl Thornell of Jewett; grandchildren, Cynthia, Cassandra, Karen, Pamela & Charles; great grandchildren, Pandora, Clell, Caleb, Coleman, Cloe, Sailor & Shawn and great, great grandchild, Lakely. A requiem mass will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, January 15, 2018 at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Roman Catholic Church in Buffalo, Texas. Father John Bowlin will officiate the service, and interment will follow in the Centerville Cemetery in Centerville, Texas. A rosary will begin at 5 P.M. with visitation lasting to 7 P.M., Sunday, January 14th at Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas.
