Bio
April 16, 1945 - 5 January 2018 Paul Hughes Stryson was born on April 16, 1945 to Paul Stanley and Emily Jean (Hughes) Stryson in Seward. He attended school in Seward, graduating from Seward High School in 1964. Paul worked for Hughes Brothers Manufacturing in Light Assembly for 40 years, retiring in 2006. In his free time he enjoyed music, Seward City Band concerts and having coffee at the Bakery. He was a member of Boy Scouts and Cross Makers. Paul passed away in Seward on January 5, 2018, at the age of 72 years, eight months and 20 days. He is survived by his brothers, Matt (Tamara) Stryson, Seward, John (Lori) Stryson, Brighton, Colorado; sisters, Stanley (Robert) Rediger, Lincoln, Leslie (Dr. Charles) Juricek, Vacaville, California, and The Sea Ranch, California. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Emily Hughes and grandparents. Service: 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, at Volzke Funeral Home, Seward. Signing of remembrance book: 1- 5 p.m. Monday, January 15, and 9 a.m. until services on Tuesday, January 16. Memorials: Seward Boy Scout Troop or Seward City Band.
