Joyce Alexander Creel, 62, passed early Tuesday morning, June 9th, at her home in Sachse. Joyce was born December 7th, 1957, in Mckinney, Texas to Ethel Fay Key and Walther Truett Key. She married Stephen Alexander on May 19th, 1984 with three little girls; Brandi, Misty & Crystal. Joyce mothered two children, Megan and Justin Alexander and was widowed by her husband December 13th, 2007. Joyce met her second husband David Creel in 2009, father to Nickie and Justin Creel. They married October 15th, 2011. Joyce enjoyed traveling with her husband, hosting parties, and spending time with their family and friends. She was the anchor to her family and was loved by everyone that met her. She found pride in watching her grandchildren play and grow. Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of her husband David; brother Ronnie and his sons Matthew and Chris Key; daughter Megan, her husband Chris, and their children Colton, David and James Farmer; son Justin, his wife Amanda, and their children Preston and Delilah Alexander; stepchildren; Brandi Boone and her sons Garrett and Mason; Misty Alexander and her children Stephen, Christopher and Kate; Crystal, her wife Patricia and their daughter Sarah; Nickie, her husband David, and their children Madison and Corbin; and Justin and his wife, Nadine Creel. Visitation services will be held Friday, June 12th, from 4pm - 7pm at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2925 Fifth Street, Sachse, Tx 75048. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 13th, at 10am by invitation only due to Covid-19 restrictions (same location).
