Bio

Tuddie Vera Hurta left this earthly life on February 1st, 2015 at the Pflugerville Nursing Home in Pflugerville, Texas. She was born on July 10th, 1918 in Taylor, Texas to Frank Krueger and Emma (Synatzske) Krueger. Tuddie married Roy H. Hurta on July 16th, 1949 She and Roy were members of the Taylor Brethren Church. She was a sister in the Christian Woman’s Circle and volunteered to help with Vacation Bible School. She loved to cook, quilt, and make kolaches. Tuddie was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Nora Richter and Effie Machu, her husband Roy, and her son Charles. She is survived by her sister Irene Werchan, her son Garry and his wife Cindy, and two grandsons, Craig Hurta and Brent Hurta Visitation will be from 6: 00 until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 6, 2015 at Taylor Brethren Church with burial to follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
