SAGINAW--Donald "Don" James Krebs, 82, passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2018. MASS: 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Azle. Don was born Nov. 21, 1935, in Nida, Okla., to William "Bill" and Delia Krebs. He was a Fort Worth area resident since 1968, where he worked as a sheet and metal specialist, retiring from Lennox Air in 1995, to travel and spend time with his wife and family. Don was a family man. He was most happy surrounded by as many relatives as possible, which usually proved an easy mission, with such a large, bonded extended family. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Don especially enjoyed football, baseball and golf. The annual Texas-Oklahoma college games were much anticipated family events each year. Don's family loves him dearly and will carry him in their hearts every day. His memory will live on through them and the many stories of their closeness. Don was preceded in death by his wife, Anita; a grandson, Mike Heath II; sisters, Mary Catherine, Julendus, Dorothy, Lucille, and Genovive; and brothers, Patrick and Leroy. SURVIVORS: Daughters, Brenda Heath (Mike) and Laura Sonnevelt (Ricky); grandchildren, Heather Mitchell (Bryan), Emma Simmons (Jason), Jacob Sonnevelt (Kelsey), and Jordan Sonnevelt; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, whom he held close and special relationships with.
