Kenneth Ray Ellig, 89, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Kenneth was born February 18, 1928. Survivors: Daughter, Rhonda Ray and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Robert Ray and wife, Shelley, Kent Ray and wife Kate; great-grandchildren, Sarah Kathryn Ray, Bo Ryann Ray, Griffin Robert Ray, Nikki Paige Ray and Millie June Ray. He was preceded in death by his wife, Milly "Nicky" J. Ellig; son, Robert Kent Ellig; and second wife, Debra Hopper Ellig. There is only one BoomPa no one else could take your place The special way you loved us could never be replaced You've taught us all to love and work and do it all with pride You've shown us how to grow in life and been our special guide We'll miss your humor and wittiness of which you often shared Your quick advice and generous ways in which you showed you cared But the way you loved us, Dad, is our most treasured gift of all There is no one else on earth that could take your place as BoomPa We Love You
